The Evansville Rescue Mission (ERM) rededicated and renamed its Camp Reveal Conference Center on May 13 to honor Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Alvis.  Rick Alvis served on staff at the Evansville Rescue Mission from 1978 to1990 of which the latter ten years he served as the ERM’S President/Chief Executive Officer.   Camp Reveal’s Conference Center is now renamed and rededicated to be the Rick and Julie Alvis Conference Center. The White Flag Program

The White Flag Program

So far, this winter has been brutal. Due to the inclement weather, the Rescue Mission participates in the “White Flag Program”. Whenever the temperature drops to or below 32 degrees (wind chill is factored in), homeless men over the age of eighteen can seek refuge here at the Rescue Mission’s Residence Center.
